Michael Anthony Gunn — Nothingness
BELLEVILLE, Ont. (03/03/20)—Michael Anthony Gunn was one of the first 21 to access the city's new Grace Inn Homeless shelter on the day it opened, last Dec. 16. "I moved to Belleville with my Dad when I was only 12, and we went back and forth between here and Toronto. I ran away from home several times, but ended up back here when I was 14, and have pretty much been in trouble with the law ever since.”
”Drinking and doing drugs with friends, well, the gateways opened up to crime. But I managed to graduate and get my grade 12 and from there, I was able to start my own painting business and eventually went legit, working with my cousin for awhile in both Belleville and Barrie.”

Paul Deryaw, and L.Col Terry Honor (ret'd) — Friendships
BELLEVILLE, Ont. (01/28/20)—Scout-Guide Museum Curator Paul Deryaw, and Exhibit Developer L.Col Terry Honor (ret'd) initially bonded over a search for the military history of Deryaw's grandfather. Ever since, they have worked together—over 15 years—to build better displays to showcase the various medals, collected items and other awards still either in storage or generously donated to the Military Museum by local families.
